Where there was music, Landon could be found.
Landon Taylor was born in Jasper, Alabama on December 10, 1962. Raised in Alabama, Landon had a great love for music. He picked up the guitar at a very young age and Landon’s talent and love to play and perform landed him in front of many audiences early on in his life. It also landed him a job playing the guitar for Clay Walker. Sixteen years later, Landon is still beside Clay as his right-hand man and friend. On average, they perform about ninety-five shows a year, keeping them on the road almost half of the year. Other times, you might find Landon playing in his home town of Jasper, or playing downtown Nashville, loving any opportunity to play with other artists. In 2008, Landon Taylor was listed in Alabama’s Hall of Fame. During his career, Landon has performed anywhere and everywhere from the infamous Grand Ole Opry to New York’s Carnegie Hall. Landon Taylor is currently still playing guitar for Clay Walker.
